Internet: T1, NxT1, OCx, Ethernet Fiber 10M- 1Gb:
Carrier grade Internet Service, also known as Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) or Managed Internet Service (MIS). It combines a high-performance IP (Internet Protocol) backbone, a state-of-the-art IP routing service, and partnerships with communications providers around the globe to provide worldwide Internet connectivity for your business.
The Internet service offered in variety of bandwidths:
- T1 /DS1 (1.5 Mbps): $300 -600/month
- NxT1 (3-12 Mbps): $700+/month
- T3/DS3 (28 T1s = 45 Mbps: $4000-16,000/month
- OC3 (155 Mbps = 100 T1s): $20,000-50,000/mo)
- OC12 (4 OC3s = 622 Mbps)
- OC48 (4 OC12s = 2.5 Gigabits per sec)
- OC192 (4 OC48s = 9.6 Gigabits per sec)
In many cases, the newer Internet Service delivered over fiber with a Fast Ethernet handoff (10 – 100Mbps) or GigE (1000 Mbps) handoff can be a very cost effective alternative to higher bandwidth alternatives such as T3/DS3, OC3 etc. With time sensitive promotions, many carriers may offer 20 Meg Ethernet Internet access at $1600-2000 range and a 100 Mbps access as low as $4500/month. If the building is “on-net” for a given carrier, the customer may be able to achieve significant savings in cost and implementation time. Contact us to determine your best options.
These services are generally offered Managed or Plus (with Managed router) or Basic (with customer provided and managed router).
Hosted or Managed CPE Firewall:
Hosted Firewall service is designed to reduce the vulnerability of your network and protect your important data from hackers and other external threats. With our Hosted Firewall, you'll be able to:
- Allow internal users to access Web pages and e-mail without giving external users access to the computers on your internal network
- Take advantage of Hosted Firewall's inherent geographically diverse and redundant Internet connectivity to all sites on your network
- Comply with today's growing number of regulatory requirements
- Enjoy the freedom of a security solution that resides entirely within the carrier network
- Have the carrier handle all maintenance, management, and repair
- Benefit from a high level of protection without having to purchase new equipment
You can choose from three levels of protection to find the solution that best meets your needs:
- Hosted Firewall
- Hosted Firewall with Web Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware
- Hosted Firewall with Web Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Web URL Filtering
The Web Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware solutions combine multiple commercial virus scanning technologies to identify known legacy viruses, spyware, adware, and malware. They also provide real-time scanning and analysis of traffic, as well as e-mail alerts for administrators and users.
The Web URL Filtering uses a rule-building process to sort inappropriate content and file types, helping you enforce your organization's Web acceptable usage policies.
The Managed CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) Firewall is the perfect security solution for single-site customers, multi-location enterprises, or anyone implementing defense-in-depth strategies that need a professionally managed gateway security solution. The Managed CPE Firewall offers:
- A hardened security device that includes a stateful inspection firewall
- Professional configuration plus maintenance, monitoring, and break-fix support through our Data TAC (Technical Assistance Center)
- Firewall logs and statistics available anytime via our Online customer portal
- Protection based on a UTM (Unified Threat Management) platform
An evolution of traditional firewall/VPN solutions, UTM is an application-based firewall built on a layered security architecture. All security services are integrated into one solution instead of being handled by multiple systems. UTM delivers a number of features and benefits, including:
- Gateway Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware, Intrusion Prevention, and URL Filtering
- Cooperative communication between security layers that fine-tunes and reduces required processing
- Integrated management, monitoring, and logging
- Streamlined deployment, maintenance, and cost-management
Private line (point-point): T1 to 1Gb, Ethernet:
Point-to-Point Private Line is used to create your own private connection between any two locations (e.g. HQ and Remote Offices), transporting data from Point A to Point B to Point C at the speed of light, safely and securely. These pathways of communication are your personal way to connect privately on business that is of most importance to you and your organization. These services are available at T1, NxT1, Ethernet (10-100 Mbps), and full GigE speeds. These locations may be within the same town, between states, or around the globe. If more than 3-4 locations are involved, an MPLS VPN network may be a more flexible and cost effective solution.

MPLS VPN Networks
to securely connect multiple business locations:
MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) technology allows customers to connect multiple business locations and provide employees, business partners, and customers with secure access to your company's networks and data from virtually anywhere. MPLS VPN is a converged private network that allows customers to use Voice, Data/Internet, and Video services on the same service while prioritizing the traffic using Class-of-Service (COS) options. MPLS VPN (Virtual Private Networks) are rapidly replacing the Frame Relay Networks that are being phased out. MPLS VPN offer an affordable way to build an enterprise network that delivers the performance, security, and reliability of a dedicated private-line network. Most larger, multi-location businesses are using or considering deploying MPLS VPN service to provide their employees, business partners, and customers with secure access to the company's networks and data from virtually anywhere.
If you are currently thinking about replacing a Frame Relay, Point-to-Point network, adding new buildings, or looking to simplify your Wide Area Network (WAN), call us. We will recommend the optimal solution to meet your needs for today and in the future.
Fixed Wireless:
Some of our partners offer Fixed Wireless services as an alternative last-mile and metro-area data and voice transport solution. It can complement or replace a portion of your existing physical network infrastructure. A Fixed Wireless solution allows you to protect your network from serious outages and to provide a lower cost network diversity option. Contact us to discuss if this might be a good option for you.
Fixed Wireless can be either a standalone point-to-point solution, or bundled with other carrier services as part of a business continuity solution that provides your network with physical layer diversity including:
- Circuit/"last-mile" diversity
- Building point-of-entry diversity
- Switch/ILEC (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier) wire serving center diversity
