Did you know that according to the FTC, your company can be fined more than $16,000.00 per violation for abusing the Do not Call laws?

When it comes to “Do Not Call laws, what you don’t know , can cost your company dearly.!
According to the FTC, predictive and automatic dialers are now illegal. Telemarketing calls must now conform to the following FTC guidelines:

1. FCC prohibits telemarketers from using predictive and automated dialers to call cell phone numbers.
2. No more than 3% of outbound calls may be abandoned
3. Calls not connected to an agent within two seconds must hear a pre-recorded message stating the name and phone number of the calling party.
4. You must not disconnect unanswered calls in less than 15 seconds or 4 ring cycles
5. You must provide Caller ID on all outbound calls.
6. It is important to note that the FTC requires that you download their DNC list every thirty days. Their wireless and wireless portability list every 15 days!
